By: Charles

In 1998, I went on a mission trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. After that experience a vision was born into my life. On that trip I served as an audio set up and tear down crew member and as a puppeteer. As we ministered in the schools, orphanages and on the street, I witnessed first hand how God moves through worship. The music would draw people into our events and prepare their hearts for the gospel. It can be difficult for me to preach in front of people or play a musical instrument but the Lord has gifted me with an ear for music and a passion to see media used for His glory.

When I came home from that trip I joined our church sound team. Servant leadership is my personal calling. I have always served as an active member of every organization in which I have been involved. First, as a Boy Scout, I served in some leadership capacity for all four years of my scouting career. After being awarded Boy Scout’s highest rank, Eagle Scout, I continued to serve the troop as an Assistant Scoutmaster. As a member of my local church youth group, I served with the worship team as the "audio guy". That passion for media, audio, and leadership has led me to seek an undergraduate education.

I have attend Oral Roberts Universtiy in Tulsa Oklahoma completing their Multi-Media Institue in the spring of 2005. In the fall, 2005, I began studing for my master's degree at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

I committed my life to Christ at a young age in a Christian family while attending Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. Later my family moved to Virginia Beach so that my father could attend Regent University. I currently attend New Life Christian Fellowship at Providence in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
